We were just voted the #1 Best Gift and Home Accessories Store and #2 Best Home Furnishings Store in Central Virginia by Virginia Living Magazine! We are beyond speechless and so thankful to everyone that took time to vote for us.
"This is the fourth year in a row that we have won an award, but first place, wow, we are truly humbled and don't even know what to say....BUT...... if this was an Oscar speech, I would like to thank my staff for their hard work, their dedication, their patience, and their ability to keep coming in each day with a good attitude despite the challenges of working during a pandemic. And to all of those that helped us stay open for over 30 years, thank you for keeping our dreams alive and for constantly inspiring us."
In a year where so many stores have closed, we will be honest and say that it has not been easy to keep our doors open. In fact, for a while, a day wouldn't pass without someone asking if we were closing soon because the store was so empty. There have been a lot of shipping issues and backorders with our vendors, but things are starting to pick up again. All we can say is thank you for being patient with us.
We hope that good things are around the corner. This award is a great reminder that we have a lot to offer and should continue to work hard because so many people enjoy our store as much as we do.
